Pros
I worked with Matlen Silver for 8 years and was very happy during my time there. While with Matlen I worked on projects for 5 major financial firms and a couple of smaller clients. The work was always exciting and focused more on the client's core business then on basic technology requirements gathering and documentation. I was promoted 2 times and always felt like my work was appreciated. I eventually left to I could relo my family to Texas, but would recommend them very highly.
Cons
often had to work long hours to wrap up major projects, but that's always true in the consulting biz.
