Pros
It's a growing company. Very fun and informal in many aspects like: dress code, lots of play time, office buildings are great. There's not a lot of structure which is a pro and a con at the same time. A pro, because you can make up your own way of doing things and a con because you pretty much have to learn as you go. no formal training. Uncapped bonus is great. Unlimited drinks in the kitchen (except for coffee). People are usually very friendly and VERY FAMILY oriented. Internal teams work great together.
Cons
-No career plan or seniority levels. -Not the best place for younger people unless you're part of the church. -Religion plays a major role in everything. This doesnt have to be a bad thing. I never felt discriminated for not being part of the religion but it was a MAJOR part of decisions, activities, people, relationships, even advertising decisions. -Almost no diversity or desire to be more diverse (very few women in leadership roles and non existent leadership roles for POC) -Disalignment between the leadership of important departments make it a very toxic environment -Communication problems between teams (like in every company) -Disalignment on goals and priorities -No maternity leave or any accomodations for women who are breastfeeding. -Not the best travel and expense policies... had to share airbnb to attend conference.
