Pros

Just look for yourself at the tone of the reviews following a 1-star negative review (most of the time they sound like rants). There's usually a mini-flood of only 4 or 5-star reviews with "Cons" of "it's really fast-paced!" The benefit for the job applicant is that it's incredibly simple to spot the fake reviews. Not to mention, the 4 and 5 star reviews are from current employees that management has used to counter the negative review. Just watch what comes after this one.

Cons

Job applicants and Potential Customers, don't consider this company, the negative reviews are spot on. I don't want to even get into how they "fake" code to mislead the customer. I've worked there for a couple years the and nepotism, favoritism, and blame game is enough to send you packing within the first year. And when you do finally see the light and leave, they will blame you for the problems.

Pros

I have been at MT for over 5-years and have been blessed by my time at the company. I look at the negative feedback below and it is pretty clear that there is a disgruntled person looking to even a score at the expense of the rest of the company (shameful approach). The company isn't perfect but the good far outweighs the bad and its not even a close race. This has been very much an entrepreneurial company and has grown tremendously over the past five years. Some people are cutout for it and some people are not. If you like fast paced, being on the front lines and making it happen then you will love it here. As for me, all I see is upside opportunity with the recent acquisition of the company there is a lot that is taking shape for years to come and it is exciting to be a part of.

Cons

As we grow it unfortunate that as you get into the mid-sized tier company that you start to lose some of the personal interaction that you have been used to historically. I would like to see the full stack go into the public cloud and some of the compliance constraints and regulations on our banking partners keep it from moving there but lets keep our fingers crossed!

Pros

Good tech stack, and some very good developers. There is the chance to learn a lot and you are never lacking for work. Some of the people there are nice.

Cons

I have never worked anywhere with a culture as negative, distrustful, and flat out mean as this place. Employees are treated as if they are children who need strict rules rather than adults. The policies here are numerous, and often you are not told of rules until you are scolded for breaking them. Sometimes these "rules" aren't even documented, or at very least enforced very unevenly. Work-life balance is non-existent. Employees on PTO are regularly expected to be available, and you are always expected to put work before anything else. And don't even think about doing anything but work while you're there. Socialization is frowned upon and you are expected to track your hours down to the minute. Incredibly, I was even told to track the time I spent THINKING about anything but work. Not sure how I would go about doing that. Overall, just a miserable place to work. There is a complete lack of basic humanity and kindness. Find somewhere that will treat you with basic decency. UPDATE: I forgot to mention a couple fun facts. When I decided to leave, they found out. After being accused of all sorts of nonsense, I was forced into a small office while my desk property was thrown into a box. The cherry on top was that they then tried to not pay me for my last week. Real professionalism.
