Pros
Benefits. Paid time off is excellent so if you want a place to make a pay check and have a decent work life balance, this is the place. Don't expect to be inspired or innovative. Ideas are lost in the political game. Team dynamics are the best you can hope for giving there is no real incentive to excel beyond doing what's best to support team members. Trust and morale are LOW at best. Psychological safety to explore innovative and competitive ideas are discouraged by leadership behaviors. Not really sure what all the chiefs are actually doing.
Cons
Pay is mediocre compared to comparable enterprises in the industry. No bonuses (at least in IT). If you have a brain, don't expect to use it often. If you enjoy check box type processess, then this is a good fit. "Agile" was a flavor of the year, replaced by traditional command and control from senior management guidelines. Middle managers we're nothing more than keepers of sticks and carrots, closely followed by a checklist status report sent to uplines. 10 years with this company and probably would have retired with the rest had it not been for complete apathy.
