Pros

Many of the techs, in all modalities are incredible!! Everyone, that is a tech, works extremely hard and with compassion.

Cons

I don't know where to begin. The staffing at the Hospitals is appallingly skelital. This making for a dangerous environment for staff and patients. management has no backbone with the contractors (VHS) they work for, hence management will take out the ills on their staff. The company all around is passive aggressive in making their employees painfully aware that they are 100% replaceable/expendable. Med smart management does not take kindly to criticisms, suggestions or speaking your mind....they will discipline you if you do. The contract with VHS is tentative at best with the modalities of x-ray, CT and MRI being mismanaged and understaffed.....especially in MRI and CT. VHS and Medsmarts contract is a very insecure and unstable relationship for the employees....if Medsmart has a problem with an employee, no matter how trivial, they will take it out on that employee by either displacing them or writing them up for anything they deem applicable. They overwork the staff they have due to...well...lack of staff. I do not recommend working for this company if you have any amount of integrity or want of safety in your work and skills.

Pros

Flexible schedule, competitive pay, easy access to management to include COO and CEO. Awesome co workers and directors.

Cons

None. The hospitals can be busy but that’s part of the job and nobody’s fault.
