Pros

"Your colleagues", I met some terrific people there but really any company where this is the best thing about the enjoyment is hiding something Whilst the software itself is not suitable for 2021 (1990?), the marketing is top notch so they compete on this

Cons

No matter the job you hold, it's just "sell, sell, sell" - software developer, business analyst, manager - no matter if the customer wants it or needs it "just do a few more hours" A few days before Christmas, the US c-level issued a statement - Europe is not selling as much as they would like and he hoped that people would cancel their "holiday" plans. This in the biggest ever quarter and biggest ever year in terms of turnover. It later came out that some of the C level dumped their shares just before announcing the public listing was being reversed and the company was going back to being private. This is public domain information, search Leslie Stitch . Due to under staffing, 50/60/70 hours per week are normal in all front line staff. Employees are sold as "experts" to some of the largest companies in the world after a few weeks of half day death by PowerPoint boot camp - whilst delivering services they are called "leads" or principles. Promotions are handed out to people who do huge hours, to stop them complaining about the hies and conditions - fabulous! This helps then get better jobs elsewhere. The most loyal staff were hired as graduated a couple of years ago and don't know any different, they think this treatment is normal. That's why in a company of over 5,000, most of the managers are mid 20s (some terrifically talented) whilst anyone over 30 leaves quite quickly as they do have something to compare it to and know it's not a good place to work. The company grows by acquisition, but there is very little true integration of the purchased software, so much is actually manually downloaded in to spread sheets and machinists there.

Pros

Flexible time off, inclusive culture, autonomy in role, great pay and benefits

Cons

Not a lot of opportunity for growth on a small consulting team. Time sheet process was atrocious but perhaps it’s improved since I left.

Pros

Nothing much to say here. Management is messed up. All tech initiatives are showcase only. There are genuinely smart people, but they are managed by worse management you can imagine.

Cons

- many bad CEOs, many bad managers. - the whole company is slow. - no one know what the company’s mission statement is. - PE firms have no idea what they are doing.
