Good company - Clinical Expert Medius Health Employee Review

It's hard to start a business from scratch, esp under the pressure of satisfying customers and investors. I credit the co-founders in their willingness to listen, learn and their efforts to grow a team of committed, determined collaborators. I joined because I want to contribute to doing some good in the world. That's a lofty, some might say naive or even arrogant goal, but I believe we've a chance to make a difference. It'd be foolish to think that'll be easy or without challenges.

Learning curves can be hard if you're not up for the challenge. Hitting big goals is hard. If you ARE up to the challenge it's also rewarding. You shouldn't expect the highest salary or the most perks, but that's not what it's about.

Interesting work. Great office. Other than the founders everyone is easy to work with. Great collaboration between people in different disciplines.

The leadership team would always make decisions to build a flashy product with fake algorithms. The company is not trying to product state of the art results, or to produce results which are medically sound. They are just trying to look like an AI company to investors. The company also takes a poor approach to software development because the decision makes in the leadership team don't understand software. There are many ways in which the actions of the founders would go against their stated values. Eg. Saying they value transparency but firing employees and never telling the team about it. The company has very high churn.
