Pros
Great people to work with.
Cons
Onboarding experience was minimal. Pay is below market rate. Workload at times is unrealistic. People are hardworking, & nice. Townhall meetings are monotone, there is no energy to help with culture. Not just in townhalls, but everyone's day to day aswell. If you're wanting an energy rich, enjoyable, respectful place to work Medtech is not where you want to be. The other reviews are correct. The CEO Geoff Sayer of Medtech Global has his business priorities all backwards. He married into money which enabled him to purchase Medtech Global, & make it what it now is. Then treats the staff (who aren't management) terribly. Some of the management team are Friends outside of work, so there is a small Favourited club behind the scenes. Geoff's "leadership" is dissapointing, & the business direction is all over the place, chasing the new stream of money from another new product with shortcomings. All while neglecting the already raised shortcomings on existing products. There is not enough investment into improving the existing product. Truth is as NZ is small it was easier to get most of the market with Medtech. Their competitors don't have the same hold, or bring enough competition. They can't see that Medtech is getting complacent, & they could use this to their advantage.
