Pros

During COVID this has really been accentuated! Within a few days, we had moved over 400 people from working in the call centers, to working from home to ensure their safety. If you do have to go into the buildings, there are many safety precautions that you have to go through to ensure there is no spreading of any virus'. This continues even 10 months after the out breaks in the U.S. started. You would think that you would fall through the cracks working from home, but quite the contrary, recognition and encouragement still continues and many are being noticed that may have not have been in the past. We have seen many promotions while excellent work ethics continue and are constantly seeing others move into 'bigger and better' areas of the company! As they do, they are congratulated via emails or virtual meetings we are in, just as many families are finding during this tough time. It's great to know you can still continue to grow your career, especially as our company itself is growing and expanding to new levels that we haven't seen in years past!

Cons

Need more hours in the week to do all I want to do.

Pros

Great to work for, the people are kind and willing to help you with any problem you run into.

Cons

They're stingy with promotions and probably won't utilize you to your fullest capacity

Pros

- side benefits are okay - it is a median sort of job - I personally have some freedom do to personal professional development on the clock when there is no immediate need for my work (happens very little) - People half listen once they know you have been at Melaleuca after about 5 years

Cons

- No management that knows what they are doing - Not very customer-focused - Don't seek to fulfill their strategic imperatives or strategies or mission - Very hard for people to listen to you because you're new - They don't have a lot of integrity - Very slow to solve problems - Don't worry about making improvements in processes or tools we use - Slow AI usage and no proficiency in AI usage, strategies or implementation - Managers micromanage because Melaleuca is "unique" - Most of the positive things they tout all the time serves only the company's image, not the employees - Don't worry about giving raises in a timely manner - Not goal-oriented employer And I could probably keep going, but will stop here.
