Pros

Melaleuca has an excellent overall program for its employees. Helping you to get experience with their awesome products even though you can't afford them. They have great people who work here and it was really helpful to be able to help others and keep my spanish in practice. Senior Management is awesome if you ever get to see them, I've never seen Frank in Rexburg though.

Cons

They abuse their part time employees, especially college students. Middle Management is generally a joke, though I have known some pretty awesome supervisors. They are constantly understaffed which leaves most employees unable to get time off, shift changes, etc. This in combination with high burn out rate for customer service means you may stay very very busy. The worst part is that they do not afford time for team building, personal growth etc... as I tried to look at other opportunities within the company or do mandatory work, i was told not to and that they couldn't afford to have me off the phones.... pretty much ever.

Pros

Great to work for, the people are kind and willing to help you with any problem you run into.

Cons

They're stingy with promotions and probably won't utilize you to your fullest capacity

Pros

- side benefits are okay - it is a median sort of job - I personally have some freedom do to personal professional development on the clock when there is no immediate need for my work (happens very little) - People half listen once they know you have been at Melaleuca after about 5 years

Cons

- No management that knows what they are doing - Not very customer-focused - Don't seek to fulfill their strategic imperatives or strategies or mission - Very hard for people to listen to you because you're new - They don't have a lot of integrity - Very slow to solve problems - Don't worry about making improvements in processes or tools we use - Slow AI usage and no proficiency in AI usage, strategies or implementation - Managers micromanage because Melaleuca is "unique" - Most of the positive things they tout all the time serves only the company's image, not the employees - Don't worry about giving raises in a timely manner - Not goal-oriented employer And I could probably keep going, but will stop here.
