Pros

Great on boarding and lengthy orientation unless your department is short staffed so they give you patients before its over Many great employees Constant renovations to improve hospital Employee health is great and cares. Do pay great bonus for working OT.

Cons

Less than great pay..pay more other places. Burnout rate it high..constant understaffed and not just in ICU. Too many people not doing their job right and taking short cuts Constant attitude from lab and a lot from respiratory therapists. Would not let them treat me in a million years. Only a few good ones and they left last year. When I was night shift they were awful besides maybe two. Management is terrible and focuses on wrong things and is two faced.

Pros

No micro-management, which is outstanding. Decent PTO. I think they’re trying to retain staff but simply do not understand the market.

Cons

Very poor communication, no structured, professional training. No department meetings, huddles or comrade. There doesn’t seem to be any motivation or desire for employee enrichment or advancement. Pay is embarrassing low and there is no excuse for this.
