Management is punitive; motivation by anger and accumulating "violations" not needed - First Assistant DM Menards Employee Review

Once you get to a level past the Management Training Program, you are asked to sign a document that makes you look like a bad employee. This I imagine, is used to hold over your head. I view this as manipulative. I don't sign what isn't true. TM's often fearful for losing their job. "Hard Work" is a misconstrued value at Menards. "Hard Work" is decidedly not tolerant of "enjoyment at work" Culture of arrogance and fear of losing job because of "looming violations".
