Pros

Working at Mentaur has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career so far. As someone working in communications and digital marketing, it is incredibly fulfilling to be part of an organisation that genuinely cares about people, not only the individuals it supports, but also its staff. From day one, I felt welcomed and trusted. There is a real sense of openness, and ideas are always heard—whether you are proposing a new campaign, suggesting website improvements, or testing a new social media approach. I have had the freedom to be creative, take initiative, and expand my skills, all while knowing that support is always available when needed. The wider team is lovely—collaborative, compassionate, and truly passionate about their work. Because Mentaur is driven by strong values, the work goes beyond day-to-day tasks; it feels like being part of something greater, making a genuine difference in people’s lives.

Cons

Like many small organisations, there’s room to shape things and contribute to more improvements.

Pros

The people I worked with were very nice and friendly. The team supported each other, and I felt comfortable with my colleagues.

Cons

The company does not care about the staff or service users. The owners only focus on profit and give power to people who follows orders without thinking about people. There is a big gap between the head office and the homes. HR is used to scare people, not to help and support. The culture is very bad and makes staff feel stressed and afraid.
