Pros
Empowered environment, professional, caring, transparent, ethical (which as a designated accountant is everything to me), smart people (mostly designated accountants), good laughs in the office. What is important to me is to do right by people even when it might mean the loss of a fee, and Mercer Bradley supports that - I have never felt pressured to close a deal if there is something I am not comfortable with (in fact, exactly the opposite). I would recommend Mercer Bradley to someone who wants to try recruiting as a career.
Cons
There is so much competition in this field - can be hard to set the company apart even though you do all the right things. That can be frustrating. But I have no significant concerns about the firm specifically. No workplace is perfect but I am surprised that someone really trashed Mercer Bradley (see below) - that has not been my experience at all and whoever wrote that does not sound like anyone currently at the firm, sounds like someone trying to settle a personal score...
