Pros

Meridian is a driven company that truly values quality in every aspect of its work. It’s refreshing to be part of a team that cares about both the process and the final outcome. They also put a strong emphasis on professional development and are very supportive when it comes to continuing education and maintaining licenses. It’s clear they want their employees to grow and succeed. Work-life balance is another big positive. The company is flexible and understanding when it comes to personal needs like appointments or family situations, and they genuinely support employees through challenging times. Management has an open-door policy, and I’ve always felt comfortable bringing up concerns. Meridian also gives back to the community through time and resources, which reflects the kind of company culture they promote internally as well. Pros: Supportive environment, strong focus on growth, good work-life balance, strong benefits including insurance and performance-based raises

Cons

Paid holidays are fairly standard—not a large number, but in line with typical offerings.

Pros

Pay is great. If you have ever worked in retail or other places that offer $0.25 raises, that is not how things operate here. The entry level wages are great and raises come quickly through hard work. There is a huge culture of mentoring here. There is room for growth. I have felt like I had room to grow and progress here. There is a mentoring culture of wanting people to learn and grow to the next level. The benefits package is good. I really like the HSA with my family. When we had twins in the NICU, the insurance was great. They paid for everything after the deductible. The bill would have been over $200,000 without it. The management team cares and really tries to make this a great place to work. I love my coworkers and it makes coming into work easy every day. This is a place where you can have a career, not just a job.

Cons

This is not a place where you can work 9-5 and go home without a care in the world. Projects take months, and even years to complete at times. Employee’s here are expected to take ownership of their work. This is a client-based company that values their product. If you are looking for a job, and not a career, this probably isn’t the right fit for you.
