Pros
There are very few positive reasons to work here unless you are in desperate need of money and living on the poverty line.
Cons
The majority of the workers at this company do not speak English. Those who do often have poor communication skills and tend to yell and scream, not because of a loud work environment, but due to their inability to communicate effectively. The training process was inadequate; it mostly involved observing others, who also struggled with communication and had limited English proficiency.
On the day shift, there are occasional English speakers, but interaction with them depends on shift rotations. Safety was a significant concern; one incident involved a coworker burning my arm with a shovel used to feed a flame because they were too busy talking to pay attention. Additionally, on my first day, another coworker attempted to intimidate me for cleaning in his area, although this did not affect me personally.
The trainer assigned to me often resorted to swearing when I did not understand his instructions, primarily due to his poor English skills. Overall, the communication issues at this company are severe; my two-year-old at home speaks more clearly and conveys herself better than most of my coworkers.
When I resigned, my final paycheck was withheld. I had to involve my lawyer and provide documented communications with HR to eventually receive my last paycheck. I would advise future employees to keep thorough records and be prepared for potential issues with payroll.
