Toxic management and no support for employees - Cleaner Merry Maids Employee Review

Where should I start? We were worked to the bone, it's a horrible work environment, and on top of all that you have to kiss up to the managers butt in order to be liked in that Tulsa Merry Maids building. The manager had yelled at me multiple times because I "got sassy" with her. Absolutely no excuse you should never yell at your employees that are working their butts off for you, no excuses can be made for that. You could never speak your mind there because they would just argue with you constantly, and they never own up to anything they themselves did wrong. You're told how to clean, how to look, I was called disgusting by the head manager there one day. You have to clean exactly as they tell you or they will fire you. There's no room for originality there, everything has to be pitch perfectly clean or they will get rid of you. I've heard multiple stories from other employees about the absolute horrible management there. For instance calling when you've just left for a doctor's appointment and asking where you are and what you're doing, threatening to fire you after you had to miss a couple days of work because your kid is sick. They also told us how to clean a certain way and if you ask someone else they will tell you something completely different. At first they told me they try to keep the fridge stocked with water and Gatorade for us. They stopped filling the fridge shortly after I started I guess and never filled it up. The main manager constantly argues with you and if you disagree with her she raises dluble hockey sticks. She is easily offended, easily stressed out, and if she hears somebody talking bad about her she will pull you into her office and her face will get so red she looks like a tomato about to pop. She is a very angry woman. The same manager who gets easily offended has also talked major crap about her employees. She likes to gossip and I know she does because I have heard her many times talking badly about us. She is extremely manipulative and makes everyone out to be the bad guy except her own self. She has ran down the hallway to where us employees are and started arguing with us, very EXTREMELY strange behavior. They always say they care about us but I never actually saw that they did. My son was in the hospital because he couldn't breathe and they told me to come into work. Family emergency is not a thing at this establishment. It's unforgivable how they constantly say they care about their employees when they pull crap like that. No, they care more about their customers who would have no problem having their house cleaned a different day because someone's son is in the hospital. During the holidays they would give just one solo cleaner 6-7 houses a day as well. I was so exhausted after work everyday I thought I was going to die.
