Pros
Sadly there are none. I wish there was
Cons
You never get paid on the day you are ment to be paid…. ever. Sometimes not at-all. Promises are never delivered. This includes the basic like an employment contract. Benefits are poor and not in line with what you would expect for a provider that is owned by a very big business Post covid working conditions are poor. When most businesses are allowing hybrid working or at the very least a trusting professional relationship, here there is no option for that. With days being overly micromanged and CCTV that can see you at your workplace. Your monitors are even checked daily to see your emails and conversations. Don’t leave your computer unlocked when you leave your desk! Leadership is poor and lacks the core values of the business and its learners. No 121s or support despite continual requests for proper management. Gossiping and bullying is a value of its own within the business. A constant feeling of anxiety and a culture of “just getting on with” This is an old fashioned model that dosent embrace a work life balance. You are not appreciated for what you do and are continually overlooked and not supported for growth. No concern over the well-being of staff. Numerous experiences of serious failures to protect their staff from harm at the hands of other staff members including abuse of power and discrimination. Leaving the business makes it difficult to build bridges within the sector as you are used as a scapegoat for poor management.
