Pros
Excelent work-life balance, remote work
Cons
pay could be better, limited growth
Pros
My experience at Meteor Education has been very positive overall. The team is supportive, collaborative, and willing to help each other succeed. There is a strong sense of teamwork across departments, and hard work is recognized and appreciated. The role also provides opportunities to learn new systems and add additional professional development in a fast-paced environment.
Cons
This isn't really a con in my opinion. The role can involve a fast pace of work and priorities may shift depending on operational needs. Some processes require multiple steps, which can contribute to a higher volume of task management at times and require strong organization and adaptability.
Pros
Remote work anywhere in the U.S. All work equipment is provided 16 volunteer hours given yearly, separate from PTO Opportunity for feedback from management/getting actual facetime with leadership regularly Opportunity for bonuses and raises yearly Workload is manageable even in the busy seasons Objectives are clear I feel like my management team and leadership genuinely care about my progress and work-life balance Biennial opportunity to meet your team face to face Training is thorough and guided Flexibility in schedule allowed
Cons
Health insurance is expensive and does not offer great coverage PTO is use or lose and there is no separate sick time Salary lower than what I have seen for similar remote roles System updates and integration take a long time to fully implement
