Pros
Good to learn a bit about everything in the industry when starting out.
Colleagues are nice, helpful, and easy-going with almost no visible politics.
Yearly company retreats and occasional company dinners.
Cons
No ethics and professionalism.
A typical small company where one person does multiple persons job with a single level hierarchy who prioritises clients over the wellbeing of its own employees.
Has a severe lack of communication and transparency.
No upgrading or progression for employees.
No constructive benefits. Senior staff who work more than a decade still gets 14 days of annual leave. 5 days WFH for staff that works for more than 5 years was only implemented recently and then came Covid-19.
The employer prizes itself to be around for 15 years but the methods, practices, and workflow are still backward and outdated with company size only growing from 4 to 9 people over the same period. (Stated on Linkedin 11-50)
The employer is generally a "Yes-man" and can't handle confrontations, not even reaching a compromise.
Doesn't know how to charge for projects properly. Most of the time neglect the importance of collecting deposits.
