Pros
so far this job is a god send. the hours are mostley flexible for me as some people need the hours i want. the pay for me is amazing. i make 9.50 flat rate plus i average at 12.00 with commission. i feel like family even after such a short time. the management is amazing and keep us up to date on how we are doing as a team. they have recognized me for top sales in the month of march and i made employee of the quarter in my first to months and received a gift from the operational manager. all in all no job i have ever worked has ever recognized me for anything i have done. i have learned a ton from this job and because of this i can use the knowlege for other things in life. my overall favorite things about MicroCenter is tied between two things. One is that its a privately owned company. The reason this is so wonderful is that the owning party actually cares about its company, not just the money. Two may very from one location to the other but in brentwood we actually care and put the customer first as much as we can. obviously not all situations should be that way but when the customer is right, they're right. its a wonderful place to work and promotions depend on work effort not relation.
Cons
at the moment im not a fan of full shift standing but ill get used to it and the managers let you take a break if you get slow. the hours can be long at 10 hour shifts but its not to bad. co workers can cause problems but every job will have a few of those.
