Scamsters, Beware! - LLM Trainer Micro1 Employee Review

1. They interview you as if you are going to work as a software engineer 2. Then they don't disclose what exactly are you going to work on 3. Once in, they'd ask you to join their slack space 4. They'll "onboard" you where some junior folks with little to no industry experience will read PPT slide 5. At this moment you realise that you are going to be a LLM trainer. Essentially they are nothing but a job consultancy to an another LLM training company. These guys keep on marketing the same thing in disguise of they hired 200 engineers for a 10B evaluation company. LOL 6. You get these LLM training tasks on this platform called as Remotasks 7. But, you don't get the task right away, instead you are supposed to complete some training. And did I tell you, all this is non paid! 8. Once you complete the training, even though during the hiring phase these guys mention the hourly rate to be 41USD but the tasks you get are priced at you won't believed 3-5 USD per hour. 9. After a few days, you stop getting these tasks as well, which they call as EQ (Empty Queue). 10. They hold catch up calls twice which is joined by 300 + people. No one is allowed to speak even though the presenter constantly says to ask questions. Weird right? I know. 95% of people keep on complaining about EQ all the time 11. So here was the banger, one sweet day, there was a slack message which said you won't be working for the client, since that client apparently ended their contract with these guys. LOL 12. So, effectively, I wasted almost 2 weeks in doing this nonsense and most importantly giving the interview, which btw was a Leetcode hard question, LMAO, for this! I understand this was a part time engagement, but person should be compensated for their hours spend! These guys very shrewdly shrug this off by saying we are just the facilitators! No sir, you guys are frauds, thanks but no thanks!
