Crap - Welder/Fabricator Miska Trailer Factory Employee Review

Met some good welders, and when they showed up they taught me some stuff.

Not a good place to work in general, especially if you are a woman. I was sexually harassed two different times by two different people in my first two weeks. The man training me my first week insisted I be a "cam girl." When I made it clear he can't talk to me like that he sulked and avoided me while he was supposed to be training me. He then asked me about sexual details of my relationship. Management told me I was not quick enough to tell them, but I had only been there for two weeks. Nothing was done. The first week training was just nonsensical chatter and buzzwords about welding. Learned absolutely nothing about the job at hand. Some good welders were supposed to be training me but were always late or did not show up at all. They probably should have been paid more for training but I doubt it, and the supervisor certainly couldn't train people. Unsafe-ish. Low standards for welds.

Completely disorganized shop Extremely toxic environment Every man for themselves Frank is a horrible manager and needs lessons on respect and management Chuck the lead hand never came to help train Workers immediately start insulting management when they leave Welding machines trigger broken for 3 weeks when I started but was still insulted when I couldn’t make their unrealistic times to make custom trailers with NO blueprints or training. Just a complete joke...
