Pros
Connection with students and the impact you can make on them. Most of the staff on campus is highly dedicated to the students. New leadership has a good vision after a challenging year with interim leadership.
Cons
Understaffed, overworked, and low pay. Pay raises are rare, Difficult work/life balance. College has an iffy financial outlook. Some in administration play favorites with staff. Not all staff buys into being a college which specializes in supporting students who learn differently. Many people with iffy qualifications in positions.
