      Pros

      - Some of the hardest working music journalists in the game - A real passion for electronic music, with none of the snobbery sometimes associated with the genre - Relaxed but efficient office atmosphere, lovely team - Freelance: Mixmag pays well and on time - Increasingly strong online presence. It's the future - Ample opportunities for new starters to pitch their own stories and travel abroad to cover festivals

      Cons

      - Very few cons to be honest - The CMS/website back end system used for Mixmag.net is a little simplistic

      Pros

      Excellent team, insanely fun work environment, guest list for just about any festival or club night, rare opportunity to work in both print and digital.

      Cons

      The salary wasn't particularly high, but was certainly comparable with similar positions within the electronic music digital media space.

      Fun environment, full of passionate people who tend to be friends in addition to coworkers. Flexibility to be part of digital, print and live event projects.
