Pros
Working at MobyDish has been one of the most rewarding and fulfilling opportunities I've experienced thus far in my career. I have been with the company for a few years, and the company has allowed me to grow both professionally and personally tenfold. The team is composed of smart, hardworking, passionate, and amazing individuals creating a collaborative and 'family'-like work environment. I sometimes felt like I was working on a school project with a like-minded team with the same goal + dream - to grow the company no matter what it takes! Talk about making an 'impact' and feeling 'empowered'! :) No day is ever the same and every day is full of learning and challenges.. with of course, fun and laughs along the way. Senior management and CEO is always supportive and have a 'open door policy' - literally. They believe in allowing their team to reach personal + professional development. Everyone on the team is able to touch multiple areas of the business which is not something you find in other companies. I've been able to work with and shape all areas of the business - from vendors, couriers, customers, operations, marketing, sales, account management.. you truly learn to wear different hats at this company and get to see direct impact of your hard work almost immediately.
Cons
With the ability to work on projects across all areas of the business and feel empowered with everything you do, workload can definitely pile up. However, the company also believes in work life balance and finding ways to automate / make work processes scalable and efficient to help you. One of the skills I've learned here is how to prioritize and delegate tasks, and how to work smarter! For that, I'm so thankful!
