Pros
Less pressure now than in the past. Think board has finally realised the problems over the last 2 years have been product and marketing rather than commercial.
Cons
I think Mobysoft has reached its apogee a couple of years ago and is now in a managed decline, probably to try to sell. We've had a breather for no other reason than few renewals in the half, expect customers will move on again next year.
We had some great people in the past, and the company was built on solid commercial success with probably 3 names who really drove things forward (don't get me wrong they werent always great either). The technology just didn't keep up and piled the pressure and expectation on. Now that the product is finally getting itself together, we are without the people who could really execute - thrown under a bus because practices were adopted ultimately to mask product failings or competition (free periods, free tech) etc.
We've no real advantages any more with to much emphasis on depth of data being of great value, but it isn't really. Still some good people and passionate, but ultimately a lot of coasting and resources with lots of capacity whilst others work their socks off.
