Pros

Pros: Flexible with your time. You can change your off days if needed. However work life balance is non existent. Pay is decent (salaried), however if you count the hours you need to work your hourly rate drops significantly. They are huge on public shout outs through LinkedIn but behind closed doors many locations are suffering while being understaffed and or under repaired. Without any plan to assist.

Cons

Don’t really know where to start but here goes nothing. If you’re desperate for a job I’d say apply but if you looking for a job that will reward your dependability look somewhere else. From corporate down to operations there are maybe 10-15 people who have been there over a year. Most people who work here get fed up and leave within 6-8 months. If you’re looking for inconsistent upper management and SOPS that change consistently this is the place for you. I worked here for 7 months and had 3-4 policy changes in that time period. The turn over at the home office is out of this world. You’ll get many people coming in with big changes they want to make in the company but if Karen doesn’t see these ideas take roots instantly she’ll terminate you and move forward with someone else. Support: There is an over worked and understaffed customer service department that can barely handle the volume of calls they get daily due to customer dissatisfaction of being double billed or any other issues that may arise. Training: Non existent, if you’re coming into the business you better know what you’re doing. The training you get is a total of maybe 10 videos that briefly explain how Modwash operates, however the videos are all dated and follow policies that the company itself does not follow anymore. There is “trainers” who will go site to site if you ask for help but the help they give is very minimal as the territory they run is so large (covering multiple states) and their expectations hit multiple sites weekly makes it almost impossible for them to spend any decent time at one location. Maintenance Support: Next to none. In the Florida region there was one tech to cover Fort Myers up through Orlando. At first we were able to call in support via third parties but upper management would rather bandage a repair quickly than spend the money needed to fix it long term. Budgeting is a thing for sure but when locations are paying a ridiculous amount of rent to the Hutton construction company it make you wonder how the money is truly budgeted for repairs. Regional Support: Make sure you follow up with anything in writing. Upper management will attempt to claim they were never informed if it’s documented they can’t say they weren’t. Make sure to keep records of conversations especially if it’s in regard to repairs to the equipment in the back room or tunnel. Many RMs are spread crazy thin and having to cover stores all across the state due managers quitting without notice. I’ve personally never worked at a company with so many General Managers willing to walk away with no notice. I do understand the mentality though. Not being supported and getting consistently belittled would make anyone check out. Benefits: If you enjoy having a carrot dangled in front of you for months on end this is the job for you. They will do anything in there power to make sure you do not receive a bonus for hard work. Catch a write up for something small no bonus for that entire quarter. Most recently bonuses were promised if certain goals were hit. Then when bonuses were supposed to be paid put Karen decided that no one worked hard enough for it company wide and took it away from everyone. At the end of the apply if you want but this is not a company I’d recommend working for long term. It shows in the tenure of the current employees. Just be prepared to be frustrated consistently.

Pros

Pay is decent! The people you work along side are great.

Cons

Owner is the biggest micro-manager I've ever met. I wouldn't recommend anyone to work for this company. Otherwise you'll end up on medication. No boundaries by the owner regarding phone calls and text messages all hours of the day and weekends. Anger issues with slamming computers, throwing chairs, or yelling and belittling you.
