Pros
Salary is comparable to what you would get at Google and Meta, as well as benefits are largely the same. Smart people High growth environment, meaning that if you come from Big Tech you might find it a bit more chaotic, less structured, less tools. On the bright side, however, this means that you can really design your role, make an impact in the areas you are interested in and prioritise independently. Kind and capable leadership in my experience in EMEA, great access to VP level and you feel listened to by all layers of organisation. No micromanagement, at least in my team. Great opportunities to travel and work with other Moloco teams around the world.
Cons
Product team is relatively slow and sales are craving innovation and new products to match advertisers needs. Sometimes it fees chaotic especially in terms of internal communication - many things can happen at the same time and often don’t get communicated very effectively at the company level. Strong DSP competition that can make the selling process hard. As in many tech it is a hard and slow to grow to manager as it is relatively flat with many IC even at high levels and with senior (Director) titles. I feel we lack a strong distinctive vision in the long term as often concentrated in keeping up with the competition in the short-medium term. Culture could be stronger for a startup, especially in the London office.
