Pros
great benefits and thats it.
Cons
Was hired on as an OIT and they refused to train me even when I reached out to management for help they would blow me off. I tried my best and doing things I shouldn't of been doing legally as an OIT and a month before my probation was up I was let go with no explanation and they refused to tell me anything. When I asked and no matter how many times I would previously ask for my performance review i was always brished off. Management here is bad and always has been. While I was working there management facilitated a work environment that would pin employees against eachother so they wouldn't look bad themselves. I received little to no training on equipment and when asked for help people would ignore me or be upset when I did. They tried to force me to make a confined space entry will fall protection with no training on how to do such things or how to make an emergency rescue. And when I refused the work because I felt unsafe from the lack of training I was mocked by my coworkers. There were a number of saftey concerns like largesheet metal panels falling from the 3 story tall trickling filters when it was windy out where no one seemed to care unless you were decapitated by one. They would not lock out unoperaple equipment nor would they tell you about it. When asking my supervisor's about basic wastewater questions about the process they seemed to not know the answers and would be upset when I would ask in front of their bosses since they couldn't answer the questions. When I talked with other people in this field or previous employees they all told me it's a horrible place to work.
