Cons
Team bandwidth was consistently overstretched across all levels, making it difficult for employees to do their work well. Dept. leadership misalignment created conflicting priorities and unclear direction for midlevel and senior staff, which also set an inconsistent example for junior employees.
Very much a “thrown to the wolves” onboarding approach, with new hires expected to take on high-pressure work without sufficient context or guidance. This often resulted in late nights spent ramping up while simultaneously delivering.
Scoping and vendor/partner processes were outdated and misaligned with how modern media teams operate, leading to excessive back and forth, inefficiencies, and frequent rework.
