Pros

The only good thing about this company of that they do have a good sense of work/life balance.

Cons

This company is full of nepotism. there is no culture, there's only "if you get along with the Office Manager" then your safe. If not, they will find a way to get rid of you. No matter how well you do your job, or valuable you are to the company, the real person that runs that place is the office manager. The managing partner is "short" of a Manager. Completely incompetent to manage employees. Gossip also runs the place. Its such a hostile work environment its scary.

Pros

They purchase random lunches for staff - usually to cover a meeting during your lunch hour (AKA unpaid/“paid” work)

Cons

Requires in-office work which is unnecessary most of the time Poor management - recruiters get a huge bonus if you’re hired and managers don’t really want to keep you around. As a bookkeeper just graduating I started with a handful of clients, they overloaded me after another coworker quit and then blamed me for not being able to handle it. Keep in mind these were 80 hour weeks. They didn’t offer any adjustment period for someone just starting out.
