Pros
Enjoyed the camaraderie with fellow associates. Broad diversity of work, so you can try a little of everything. Meal + car reimbursement policy was easy and flexible in practice which actually does add up.
Cons
Attorneys don’t feel valued. The firm is notorious for random irritations (such as deducting cost of some small office supplies from paycheck) and associates are generally distrustful of how policies/bonuses will play out in practice. Lots of office politics which means some partners are not great to work with.
