Pros
I built a lot of great relationships personally and professionally with the most talented, humble and hard working people. Unfortunately, many of them have had to part ways and are no longer with the company. I was able to get the tools I needed to do my job and had many opportunities to travel (pre-COVID). Benefits package was the best that I've ever had historically.
Cons
With the amount of growth, restructuring, employee turnovers and layoffs, the business fails to establish a realistic and laid out process and timeline for new product development. Many projects are kicked off late and Leadership moves up launch dates without a clear understanding of downstream implications. However, we always manage to get the job done which sets a precedent that it can always be achievable. Roles of responsibility are not clearly defined and it is very difficult to get career growth opportunities unless you have the right players on your side. Expect to be buried with your workload and burn out with the expectations on the speed it takes to turn around deliverables.
