Okay company, poor benefits package - Business Analyst Motion Recruitment Employee Review

Pros

Motion does have access to positions you wouldn't be able to apply for on your own, but once you're placed at your company in your contract role you don't have much to do with them anymore.

Cons

The biggest con is the benefits - because that's the only interaction you have with the company. No 401k matching. No bonuses or annual performance raises. There is one option for health insurance and it's one with a very high deductible and does not give you the option for co-pays for visits(They cover 20% of the cost, AFTER deductible is met). They also don't offer vision insurance. The PTO is about average for industry, except you cannot rollover any days if you don't use them at the end of the year and it's not paid out when you leave.

Pros

Easy interview process. Recruiter worked for me and wanted to see my get the job.

Cons

Only con was it took a while to finally start the job, but that wasn't Motion's fault.

Pros

- Free Bagels - Good training

Cons

Pay is far below what the role demands. Management is unprofessional and sets unrealistic expectations with little recognition or reward. No commission is paid until 10 full-time placements are made. Health insurance benefits are poor. A culture of bullying is tolerated and goes unaddressed. Employees are encouraged to mislead candidates and use their personal information to generate more sales, which raises serious ethical concerns.
