Pros
Engineers and Technicians know there stuff here and are willing to teach. The people are a joy to be around. This is a great place to learn new skills and knowledge with the variety of projects there are. Absolutely the best stepping stone that I could have asked for. Decent medical and 401K program. Bottom line is the workers make this place great to keep coming back in to.
Cons
Management is out for themselves and there is really no leadership program to guide new engineers what they should be improving on. Flow of information and organization is structured like an hourglass, with lots of new bureaucratic implements to muddy the process further. Motiv is currently taking steps backward in productivity by physically segregating engineers based on projects that they will eventually get shifted around from. Projects seem to be randomly chosen out of a hat, this leads to a lot of projects with no real requirements and that much tougher to work towards. Advertising of projects that are being worked on couldn't be worse, so keep track of what you did because LinkedIn won't if you don't. They started a Educational reimbursement program but good luck if you are trying to get your masters as they will only cover around 15k maximum. Nepotism seems to play a big role in your success here. No formal review process so raises are based on who knows what. If you ask for a corrective raise due to change in productivity or responsibility, the response will be "I will see what we can do" and then radio silence.
