Pros

Benefits are decent. Generous paid time off.

Cons

•This is the type of place where someone will walk past your desk with their head down so they can get back to their computer and email you. In other words, communication skills need serious improvement. Issues are swept under the rug, and you're expected to plaster on a fake smile and not talk about them. •There are a lot of long term employees, which is good in some ways, but it definitely can inhibit career growth for others. •Executive management is resistant to change and have no idea about the frontline worker's experience there. •Middle management is generally ok, but it really just depends what department you're in. •Floor workers aren't treated well and are viewed as disposable. With the current pay structure, there's no reason to stay at this job after a couple years. You can find a similar job at a company that pays more or offers better benefits. •Training is lacking in all areas of the company. It's baptism by fire for new employees and very little development of current ones. •There is widespread bias against younger people. Also, the few women who work on the floor deal with a lot of nonsense. Men who can't or won't treat women respectfully need to be let go from the company. HR is far too lax and doesn't enforce their own policies. •Too much emphasis on appearances and not enough on fixing real problems.
