- high administrative load for some faculties (teaching staff may need to involved marketing, counselling, seedling programs and other non-teaching related activies ) - required to learn new teaching method using blended learning - staff required to fulfill KPI in four baskets: (1) academic teaching (2) research (3) administrative and (4) community services - high requirement for promotion from senior lecturer to associate professor/ professor - implemented ISO in T&L and all T&L activities will be audited twice a year - trimester systems, the staffs will be very busy preparing and teaching whole year - high requirement for R&D in term of publication, securing research funding and getting postgraduate students - difficult to get promoted from lecturer to senior lecturer and to associate professor and professor (high requirement) ~ resulted most faculties with less than 20% of associate prof. /professors - low salary pay out in current trend - spending large amount of money for unnecessary beautification campus projects which is useless for students and staffs
