- ESOP (100% employee-owned) - Very meaningful civic projects with genuine attention to community impact (not all talk) - Plenty of support for growth if you bring your big ideas - Support of the whole person - personally for me that includes family life - even have competitive parental leave policies - Kansas City office is beautiful and has an incredible art collection on view (loaned from private collector) - offices are adaptive reuse projects the firm does themselves (not big generic office buildings) - Technical expertise is valued as well as design-forward thinking - Healthy firm with 50 years of experience
Cons
None - I've had enough professional experience to know that the frustrations are minor in the scheme of things - this firm is always evolving and will continue to grow but is doing so in thoughtful, responsive, respectful ways (respectful of people who work there, respectful of the communities they serve.
