Pros

I feel compelled to provide my review after reading the previous review, which is highly unjust in my opinion. The boss is highly genuine in making sure everyone is doing okay. He is definitely not the everyday smile boss that accepts everything, especially not if the staff is making the same mistakes repeatedly. He has expectations, but they are good expectations, and when we do well we get complimented, when we do badly we rightfully get feedback for improvement. I think it's fair and I accept that. And at the end of the day, he will always come around to smile and genuinely thank us for the work. So to say he is not genuine is definitely not true in my opinion. The boss is also highly experienced and respected in this marketing and media industry, so I get to learn a lot of things and try different projects which I don't get to try in my previous job. And yes, the work from home plus all the added flexibility the boss gives is really good too. lol. the best

Cons

The previous review talked about being stressed because of the workload, but this is a company where you are seldom needed to work overtime, and the workload is always manageble. The stress is not from the workload. The stress comes from learning new things, because this company takes on different types of marketing, social media, and workshop projects, so there are a lot of things to learn.

Pros

My time at My Secret Hacks was one of the more formative experiences I've had in a professional setting. The team was tight-knit and everyone pulled their weight, so you feel the impact of your work pretty quickly. One thing that stood out to me most was the quality of feedback. My boss was direct and specific in a way that made every correction useful rather than just critical. Most of the team members are young but have been in the company for years, so they bring good experience that can help to guide newbies. You always knew not just what was wrong but why, which I really appreciated as someone starting in this industry. People communicated honestly, expectations are clear, and there's genuine respect for what each person brings to the table regardless of experience level. I got to work on video editing, content planning, and even an event setup, so it wasn't just one thing the whole time. It is a good place to work in if you want to actually to experience new things, not just watch. Would recommend to anyone who wants to understand how a creative agency operates from the inside.

Cons

It's important to put in the effort when working there. From my time there, there are only that 1-2 colleagues that clearly gets questioned and scoldings a lot more, and that has more to do with their attitude and repeated mistakes.

Pros

I guess only good part is stay at home job? but tbh it doesn't even feel any less stressful

Cons

wouldn’t recommend working here tbh. the place is really chaotic and there’s barely any structure or proper system in place. every day feels messy and stressful, and it gets draining after a while. the boss also comes across very fake. one moment he acts okay, then the next he belittles you or makes you feel small. it’s honestly discouraging and makes it hard to feel motivated at work. the overall mood there is quite bad too. people don’t really seem happy, and once work starts, it feels like everyone is just trying to get through the day. i’ve heard quite a few people complain, and i’ve also seen many full timers leave. turnover seems high for a reason. personally, my mental health has been affected a lot working there. i’m stressed all the time, and i’m honestly planning to leave soon too. if you’re thinking of joining, just be careful. from what i’ve seen, a lot of people don’t stay long.
