The wider team were kind, supportive and welcoming. Everyone joined wanting to make a positive difference on young people and improve the company.
Cons
There was a consistent lack of structure and process across the organisation. Meetings lacked focus and tended to go in circles, making it difficult to drive any meaningful progress. Priorities frequently shifted without any clear rationale, which created confusion and made it hard to deliver on projects. Tasks that were labeled as urgent were often deprioritised just as quickly, which led to a lot of frustration and inefficiency. Goals (both commercial and "impact") were rarely communicated to the wider team. Culturally, there was no investment from leadership in fostering a positive or cohesive working environment. There were no feedback channels, and when constructive feedback was proactively offered it was overlooked. Micromanagement is a recurring issue, which hugely affected morale and was contributed to the high turnover rate. Overall, it was a challenging and disheartening environment to work in.
