Thank you for the feedback. We care what employees-past and present-think about working at our firm. We find it important to evaluate all feedback with the goal of continuously improving the work environment at Myefski Architects.
We encourage feedback from all employees on any topic. This feedback can be shared during an informal and/or impromptu meeting, or during a traditional performance review meeting.
And if an anonymous approach is preferred, the firm uses a suggestion box system to further encourage employees to voice their opinions, concerns, complaints, etc.
Although our firm is headed by one principal who is the owner and founder of the company, leadership in the firm also comes from the Leadership Council. Major decisions, changes, and goals are determined by the Leadership Council. The Leadership Council is currently comprised of the firm’s Principal and three senior employees.
We regret hearing that your interview did not go as expected. Generally, potential candidates meet with senior staff in the first round of interviews. If the senior staff feel a candidate would be a good fit, the candidate is invited to meet with the Principal. Therefore, it may be the case that the Principal’s mind was already made up to hire you based on the opinions received from the senior staff.
