Pros

Amazing people to work with and learn from. Great benefits! The CEO does believe in an open-door policy. When asked, he does make time. You have to be prepared, with simple facts and supporting data. I can honestly say he values hardworking people.

Cons

I am a people person, so being in the office does not bother me. However, I can see how the workforce trends have shifted, and leadership could be more pro-remote or even hybrid without giving the vibes that is frowned upon.

Pros

There are still some good people left. The way NCCER is being run though, they probably won’t be for long.

Cons

Where to start… this place could be a comedy with how awful the decision-making, communication, and trust is. Maybe a tragic comedy. Someone wake Shakespeare up, maybe he could actually make something decent come out of this place. Leadership has been filled with incompetent and egotistical charlatans. They show through their actions that the do not value their employees, everyone is just a butt in a seat to them. They will lie to your face, tell you you’re valued, say there is a safe space to voice your concerns. Do not listen to them. If what they hear does not complement their self-righteous, diluted vision (which is constantly changing and often unclear), you will be screwed over. Everyone is expendable. The people who do the best work and actually understand healthy culture are seen as enemies to the demagogues who lord over the halls.
