Pros
I guess NCS is very inclusive in terms of who they hire etc (regardless of race, gender).
Cons
NCS is a massive company, so my experience doesn't necessarily apply to everyone. These issues are primarily at the project level (offsite projects); I’m unsure if the culture is better at HQ, but I believe there are definitely way more competent and professional people there. Unfortunately, NCS tends to tolerate incompetence, allowing individuals who are unfit for their roles to remain. This leads to frequent mistakes that others are forced to fix. High-performing employees eventually leave because the company retains toxic staff members who spread negativity. The culture is also problematic, characterized by a heavy "blame culture." Instead of exercising teamwork, people often blame or sabotage one another rather than supporting the team to deliver results for the client. Management mostly consists of people who have been with the company for decades and were promoted simply due to seniority/loyalty. They often bring outdated rules and toxic habits to their teams. It is unfortunate that the company doesn't always select the right people for leadership roles, often favoring the wrong candidates. (To be fair, not all managers are bad, but in my experience, the majority are.)
