Pros
Flexible WFH policy. Free lunch in office.
Cons
Engineering at this company was a complete disaster from the top-down. The LA office was an infestation of incompetence, unprofessionalism, and ego, screaming orders from their ivory tower and expecting the plebs that work for them to march forward. The software products are not particularly good, but fit a niche that other players in the industry consider too inconsequential to pursue, allowing the company to get away with lousy development practices, poor products, and somehow even worse ops. The engineering leadership is tightly knit (regionalism at play, if you know you know) and cover for each other while failing upwards and pinning the blame on everyone outside of their clique. This is textbook toxicity.
