The workload is light compared to other news rooms. Reporters and MMJ's are only expected to turn one story a day. They typically get a photographer, and they don't have to go live unless the situation calls for it. Good vacation time, sick and PTO.

Extremely low pay. Fast food level wages! Reporters/MMJs get paid $17-$19 an hour. Turnover is extremely high. The few toxic employees such as photographers and producers are ignored because management needs cheap labor.
