7yThe fact is that 18 full-time employees announced their resignation in April 2019, approximately 10% of the total staff. It is true many of those leaving the company expressed their dissatisfaction with the management.
In recent few years, NIL’s business expanded significantly, many new colleagues joined the company. Unfortunately, the attention to people was not increased accordingly – and overall priorities were not always set correctly.
But the fact also is that several measures were taken to improve that. The HR team was expanded a few months ago, different programs introduced to improve the corporate culture, concrete steps taken. People are listened to much more. Their opinion is taken seriously. We are therefore thankful for every sincere feedback and opinion. We sincerely regret these initiatives and concrete steps didn’t convince the colleagues that decided to leave in April.
Nevertheless, we remain strong, positive, passionate and confident about the future. NIL has new owners, a respected IT company, known for high employee engagement and customer satisfaction. The owners are actively involved in the development of supportive leadership and together with the new leadership team determined to make NIL the best place to work.
And on a more personal note: I just recently joined NIL as the HR Manager and I can honestly say, I have never seen so many hardworking, knowledgeable and passionate people in one place. A place that has so much to offer: amazing people, meaningful and interesting projects, friendly atmosphere, focus on work-life balance and also competitive packages. We welcome everybody who shares our values and is passionate about IT-technologies to introduce himself/herself to us.
