Important issues to work on. A place to make life-long friends. I place where if you have an attitude to work as a team for a common goal you will be not only successful, but have a great time doing it! NOW isn’t a job, it’s a movement!
Cons
Sadly, some individuals who have worked at NOW had a personal agenda, that prevented them from getting along with others. NOW is a political organization, which means leadership will change. If a staff person was unhappy because a candidate they supported in the election didn’t win they should either make a commitment to work with the new team — or leave. There have been a rash of disgruntled employees who have left the organization, but they are not representative of the organization or staff as a whole. I would encourage any young woman who wants to work for women’s rights to consider NOW.
