Great entry level company - Inpatient Coordinator NRC Research Institute Employee Review

Working at NRC is a great way to get involved in the Clinical Research field. The work environment is fast paced, challenging, engaging, with room for growth. There is a lot of great patient care exposure. Fantastic if interested in working with psychiatric patients/gaining a good understanding of this population. While the NRC staff is focused and hard working, they are a warm and fun community to be apart of. You can build lasting friendships and connections here!

There is a heavy work load at times as research work load will often ebb and flow. Definitely meant for an individual with great organizational skills. Will teach you how to multi-task like no other!

Great team environment, with friendly and helpful coworkers and supervisors. Good opportunity to gain medical skills such as performing ECGs, measuring vital signs, interacting with patients, building communication/phone skills, assisting with informed consents, and assisting with lab processing.

The workload can be overwhelming at times. However, help is available if you reach out to and communicate with your coworkers and supervisors. Good opportunity to practice time management skills and efficiency.
