Pros

I experienced a very traumatic and unexpected health issue with my spine. I could not walk, let alone come to work. The NSCA was supportive the entire time and allowed me to heal, supported me with check-ins and meals, and I was able to attend post recovery physical therapy and maintain my role on my team. Another positive is the ability to take 3hrs paid time during the week to workout in the Performance Center. We are also off 1hr early on Fridays.

Cons

The building has become outgrown by the number of new staff. I suppose that's good and bad. That's a good thing to show growth in job opportunity, but currently making meeting spaces be hard to utilize. There has been several deep dive discussions for a new building. Looking forward to that event!

Pros

Salary compensation became more reasonable over time. Work-life balance may be the greatest attribute of working here. Generally, good, hard working, and well intentioned people come to work here. Access to a very large weight room and world-class training is a big plus. Benefits are decent.

Cons

Most employees are unhappy. I would attribute this mostly a severe lack of leadership and management experience, knowledge, ability, and execution. Adding to a weak directorship is a board of directors that has a scarred history of holding the organization back from real progress. Much respect for the old-timers, but this organization is in serious need of new and innovative blood.
